Boomerang Dining, LLC (Boomerang Dining aka Boomerang!) provides the public with free information pertaining to local dining establishments and does not require any personal information to be provided. Beyond the free information, we offer greater benefits for those electing to become free members of our site. This privacy policy pertains primarily to those persons electing to join our Boomerang Dining community.
Here at Boomerang Dining, we treat your personal information with the highest regard and strongest security. Security of your information and privacy is your right and our commitment.

This document provides you our policy and background regarding the information we collect, how we may share it, and your choices regarding how or if we share the information. This policy applies to information obtained via our website or any information provided by you via any other means including phone, fax or mail. We always respect your privacy and promise to hold any information provided in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect personal information from you if you elect to become a free member. Membership entitles you to additional information and benefits by granting access to “member only” areas of our website. A minimum amount of information is required to enroll. Any additional information is purely voluntary and would allow the user an even greater benefit from our website. The types of information vary based on your desired level of involvement.
* Use of our site and access to all main features: No personal information required. * Boomerang Dining Membership: Minimum information: name, valid e-mail address, country and year of birth. * Membership with Personal Profile: Personal profiles allow for additional customizing of the use of the website, and storage of desired information. Information is purely voluntary and can include some or all of the following types of information (not an exclusive list, only examples: phone number(s); preferred food type(s), location(s), storage of “favorites”, etc.)
Membership with Boomerang Dining is voluntary and always free of charge. When signing up initially for membership, we request a minimum amount of information in order to generate a membership ID number and grant full access to our website. This information is will be protected to the highest levels and we do not provide it to third parties without your approval. In order to vote in a featured survey and purchase items in our Shop, we require that you provide a valid mailing address.

Protecting Children’s Privacy

We do not intend to market to children and therefore have no intention of collecting personal information from anyone under the age of 13. Our site is a general reference with no information intended to be age specific nor inappropriate for persons of any age. We request confirmation of whether the person is under the age of 13 and indicate that they are not to provide any information without their parent or guardian’s consent. If by chance we become aware that a child under the age of 13 has submitted any of their personal information without their parent or guardian’s consent, we may respond only to request the child provide an email address of a parent or guardian for obtaining their consent. In the event a parent or guardian cannot be reached we will delete the information from our database. We encourage parents or guardians to regularly monitor and supervise their children’s on-line activities.

What Your Information is Used For

We use your information identify you in our system and allow you to receive informational updates such as newsletters periodically about new features, special offers and targeted promotional items from restaurants, etc. Since you elect what information you want emailed to you, you only receive what you request. At any time you can change your requests and as always, elect not to receive any emails.

With Whom We Share Information

We do not share any information without your permission. Members may desire information to be shared with select dining establishments in order to receive focused information from desired establishments such as menu specials, discount offerings, etc. We do retain the right to share and transfer all user information with a purchaser of our company or all of our assets if that purchaser agrees to abide by the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Boomerang Dining utilizes cookies (small pieces of text stored on your computer) to recognize you and your access privileges. For example, cookies allow previous search location information to remain entered which can make information access even easier. Cookies also allow you to get logged in to the website automatically without entering your ID and password each visit (always optional) or can help identify your preferences on our site. For these purposes, these cookies are tied to your personally identifiable information. You may refuse to accept our cookies, but we will not be able to recognize you as a registered user or subscriber, which will limit your access to the site.

Search Location Indication

If you choose to enter a street address when selecting a location, this information will be saved for your convenience in your Recent Locations list or in your Saved Locations list should you so indicate. This information makes it easier for you to have a more customized browsing experience and search our database more effectively.
